Ukraine Aid opens individual ticket applications | Mortgage Strategy

With three weeks to go until brokers and lenders in the mortgage industry come together to host Ukraine Aid, individual ticket applications are now open at means-tested prices starting from £20.

Ukraine Aid aims to raise £30,000 for several charities helping displaced Ukrainian orphans, including Unicef and World Vision.

The concert will be held on 30 June at the Lafayette Concert Auditorium in Kings Cross, London, for which three corporate sponsorship opportunities remain.

The fundraiser is the brainchild of Mortgageforce managing director Kevin Duffy, with input from brokers and lenders across the mortgage industry.

Duffy says: “The response this past month from industry firms has been just overwhelming and we now want to free up a limited number of tickets to individual registrants.”

“We have also chosen to means-test these at a variety of prices from £20 upwards as there are many young folk in the industry who really do live on a tight budget these days.”

“The event’s five-hour schedule now features some truly talented acts from across the industry and from various West End musicals. We are also seeing if Paddington Bear is available to open the gig,” Duffy adds.

Earlier this month, it was announced that SPF Private Client director Howard Levy, Landbay managing director of intermediaries Paul Brett and Coreco managing director Andrew Montlake will all perform at the event.

Other performers include Prolific Mortgage Finance managing director Lea Karasavvas, the winner of The Voice Ukraine 2013 Anna Hodorovskaya, The Mortgage Mum’s Sarah Tucker, as well as a Rolling Stones tribute act and The Bootleg Beatles.
