Bridging lender Aspen has boosted its underwriting team as its looks to expand its lending capability.
The lender has taken on three new underwriters via its graduate recruitment team, while also making a number of internal promotions in the department.
Aspen Bridging has promoted Saif Khalique to be the company’s underwriting manager. Khalique previously held the role of senior underwriter. Aqib Iqbal has been promoted to senior credit analyst, while Laura Randall is now a senior underwriter having joined the business as an underwriter in January 2021.
In total the company has now recruited 13 members of staff via its graduate recruitment scheme, including these three latest appointments to its underwriting team.
Aspen Bridging director Jack Coombs says that these appointments come as the business is looking to “ramp up” its lending over the rest of this year and beyond. He added that the company’s hiring efforts will continue as Aspen Bridging looks to continue to expand its business.
