TSB raising rates by up to 55 basis points | Mortgage Strategy

TSB is increasing rates on a range of products by as much as 55 basis points on Friday.

The lender emailed brokers this morning to notify them of the price rises which will cover residential two and five year fixes in its 75-80 per cent LTV house purchase range as well as remortgage deals between 60 and 85 per cent LTV.

TSB will also be launching new five-year fixed rates in its shared equity range.

The following products are being withdrawn ahead of the reprice, with advisers asked to submit applications for any of the below deals by 8pm this evening:

  • 80 per cent LTV two-year fix for home purchase at 1.59 per cent 
  • 80 per cent LTV five-year fix for home purchase at 2.19 per cent with three-year early repayment charge
  • 80 per cent LTV five-year fix for home purchase at 1.89 per cent with standard ERC
  • 85 per cent LTV two-year fix for remortgage at 1.84 per cent and 2.19 per cent with free legals or £300 cashback
  • 75 per cent LTV five-year fix for remortgage at 1.59 per cent with free legals or £300 cashback
  • 85 per cent LTV five-year fix for remortgage at 2.19 or 2.39 per cent with free legals or £300 cashback

TSB is also temporarily withdrawing all of its two-year fixed shared equity and shared ownership house purchase products as well as a number of five-year fixed shared ownership deals.
