Aldermore adds two BDMs to commercial real estate team

Aldermore has expanded its commercial real estate team with the appointment two new business development managers.

Paul Barnsley joins with 30 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking, having begun his career on the NatWest Group graduate scheme.

He has since held senior roles at Clydesdale, HSBC and Santander, where he supported real estate investments and developments across multiple property sectors and regions.

Matt Cross brings 25 years of experience in commercial and real estate banking.

He joins Aldermore from Cynergy Bank, where he spent seven years as relationship director and helped grow the balance sheet across the North of England.

Prior to that, he held a range of managerial roles at NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland over an 18-year period, focusing on origination and relationship management.
