The City of West Palm Beach announced recently that a new series has been launched. The entertainment series will feature weekly drive-in movies called the “Show On The Go”. The city will be showing movies at both Currie Park and Dreher Park throughout the month of August.
The city of West Palm Beach is working hard to develop and plan for new ideas and concepts to keep everyone entertainment and keep everyone’s health and safety in mind.
August 2020 “Show On The Go” Movie Schedule:
Saturday, August 8th: Despicable Me 3 (PG) – Dreher Park
Saturday, August 15th: Grease (PG) – Currie Park
Saturday, August 22nd: Sonic the Hedge (PG) – Dreher Park
Saturday, August 29th: 50 First Dates (PG-13) – Currie Park
More dates and movies will be announced at a future time, the city states.
Gates for the movie will open at 6 pm and the movies are set to start at 7 pm. General Admission tickets are $10 dollars per vehicle and $30 dollars for VIP. The VIP option includes front row parking or close proximately, plus a family pack of popcorn, beverages, and candy. Refreshments will be available and delivered directly to each vehicle.
Blankets and chairs are encouraged and are only items allowed outside the vehicle. Social distancing and facial coverings will be enforced when outside of vehicle. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
