For its 26th season, the West Palm Beach GreenMarket will return to the downtown waterfront on October 3, with a few new safety precautions. The new season will be called "Lettuce Shop Safely" to drive home the new protocols in ensure visitors safety.

That means no food samples, live music, kids’ activities or bottomless mimosas, organizers say. (If you really want a mimosa, you can buy a single cocktail at the entrance for $4.)

The focus on safety also means:

• More space -- at least 10 feet -- between the market’s estimated 90 vendors.

• Masks are mandatory.

• Market-goers will find hand-sanitizing and washing stations scattered about and a designated walking path to follow.

• Quick shopping is encouraged.

The market has added 10newvendors this year, organizers say. They include Zipitios tacos, Hooked on Ponics greens, Gilbert’s Rib King BBQ, Meraki Juice Kitchen plant-based eats and Pure Gold Kombucha. Click here for more info!
