Atom bank has appointed Jayne McCann and Sean Thorn as business development managers on its commercial team.
McCann joins from Coventry Building Society, where she worked as a business development manager.
In her new role, she will focus on building relationships with brokers across her region.
Thorn joins with experience in both business development and commercial broking, including more than a decade at Aldermore Bank.
He has also run his own commercial finance brokerage.
Both will support Atom bank senior commercial business development manager Neil Findlay across London and the South.
Atom bank head of intermediary distribution David Castling says: “I’m thrilled to have Jayne and Sean joining the Atom bank BDM team.
“By investing in our commercial BDMs, we are making it easier for brokers to work with Atom, providing experienced contacts for brokers to work on deals and talk through issues with.”
McCann adds: “I’m really looking forward to getting started, meeting brokers across my region and helping them to support their commercial clients.”
Thorn says: “Relationships are absolutely crucial in commercial lending.
“Brokers need contacts they can rely on to talk through the detail of individual cases and try to find a way through to a successful application for their client.
“I’ve seen that from both sides, as both a BDM and a broker, and I will bring that experience to support brokers across the South of England.”
