Bank of Ireland UK has announced the promotion of Lauren Wiles and Andy Cooke from business development managers to national account managers.

Wiles has been at the bank since early 2019; prior to this she worked at Mortgage Advice Bureau, Farrell Heyworth and Belvoir.

Cooke has over 25 years’ experience in financial services. He has worked at Mortgage Advice Bureau, Westcoast Properties, Gary Berryman Estate Agents and Platinum Financial Management Limited.

Bank of Ireland UK head of intermediaries Iain Smith says: “Both Wiles and Cooke have done a terrific job in recent years, and I am delighted we can support their career development.

“Our distribution continues to grow as the mortgage market evolves. Feedback from our partners continues to be positive, and the Bank of Ireland UK team will continue to support our wider network of brokers and these hires will help strengthen that support.”

Wiles comments: “This is an exciting time to be in the business and to take up this new role. Our distribution has grown so I look forward to the opportunities to build closer relationships with intermediaries.”

Cooke adds: “There is growing demand for support across areas such as complex incomes and the self-employed market. I am looking forward to stepping up to support the business and our presence among intermediaries.”
