The top five lenders in our ranking have a combined wholesale volume of more than $13 billion at the end of the first quarter of 2023. Many lenders saw an increase in volume between Q4 and Q1, with one seeing a rise of 227.56%.

The data in this ranking was sourced from National Mortgage News' MortgageStats site, which pulls from quarterly call reports available from the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.
