Fleet Mortgages has hired David Lockwood as business development manager (BDM) covering the North London region.
Lockwood has more than five years of experience in business and relationship management within the intermediary lending space.
He joins from Coventry Building Society where he was a field BDM. Prior to this, he worked at Metro Bank as a telephone BDM and a mortgage helpdesk representative.
In his new role, Lockwood will look after new and existing advisory firm relationships in his region.
He will report to Fleet Mortgages sales manager David Husbands and work closely with internal BDM for North London Jason Blignaut.
Fleet Mortgages chief commercial officer Steve Cox says: “David will be working closely with Jason to provide advisory firms in the North London region with a raft of support and resource, and specifically will be working with advisers to show them how Fleet can provide the finance they require for their landlord borrowers, across our three core product ranges – standard, limited company and HMO/multi-unit block.”
