United Trust Bank (UTB) Mortgages has strengthened its residential second charge proposition with the reintroduction of lending up to 90% loan-to-value (LTV) and rate reductions of up to 60 basis points across selected Prime, Near Prime and Specialist products.
The latest enhancements are designed to provide brokers with greater flexibility and more competitive options for customers looking to raise capital for home improvements, debt consolidation and a wide range of other borrowing needs.
The enhancements include: 90% LTV lending reintroduced across UTB’s Super Prime, Prime Plus and Prime ranges for loans between £20,000 and £100,000. Rate reductions of up to 60bps across selected fixed-rate products in the Prime, Near Prime and Specialist ranges.
Fixed rates now available from:
- 6.09% – Super Prime
- 6.24% – Prime Plus
- 6.64% – Prime
- 7.29% – Near Prime
- 7.49% – Specialist
Specialist UTB’s director of mortgages, BTL & bridging Buster Tolfree commented: “The second charge market continues to grow and evolve as more homeowners recognise the value, flexibility and speed of second charge loans and the convenience of accessing equity in their home, especially if they want to retain a competitive first charge mortgage.
“Reintroducing lending up to 90% LTV and reducing rates across key parts of our range means brokers have even greater flexibility to help customers achieve their financial goals.”
