The Mounts Botanical Gardens is now open to the public. The Botanical Gardens was nearly closed for three months and reopened its doors to the public yesterday, June 16th. The garden will reopen at 50% capacity in keeping with the county, state, and CDC guidelines.
Mounts Botanical Garden is one of Palm Beach County’s oldest and largest botanical gardens. The gardens feature 14-acres of tropical oasis and features 25 display gardens showcasing more than 2,000 species of plants.
Mounts Botanical Gardens joins the list of other cultural centers in Palm Beach County that have reopened with limited capacity. The Flagler Museum, The Norton Museum, The Pan’s Gardens and The Society of the Four Arts have recently been welcoming visitors back.
Those visiting Mounts are expected to practice social distancing at all times and are required to wear facial coverings or a mask when entering the nursey area or the offices and masks or facial coverings are strongly suggested for areas of the gardens.
Only 100 visitors will be allowed into the garden at one time and to limit interaction, cash will not be accepted at this time. Please pay for admission with a credit or debit card. Admission is $10 dollars for a general ticket and $5 dollars for children ages 5 to 12.
Mounts Botanical Gardens will be open Tuesday through Friday during the month of June from 10 am to 3 pm.
