Former Skipton Building Society for Intermediaries business development manager Jonathan Evans has been promoted to national account lead.

Evans has been with Skipton for more than seven years and has 17 years’ financial services experience, including eight with Lloyds Banking Group in various BDM and relationship roles, and two with Santander as a BDM.

Evans says: “I’m excited about my new role and looking forward to working closely with key stakeholders within networks and mortgage clubs. I will provide a high level of support for them and their members and aim to deliver mutually beneficial projects for both Skipton and our key accounts.

“I’ll be working closely with our key accounts to promote Skipton’s fantastic proposition and look to form strong, meaningful relationships. I’ll bring to life Skipton’s mission, strategy and goals with our key accounts. We have invested heavily in technology, service and our people and are well positioned to achieve our goal of becoming a top 10 lender.”

Skipton was awarded the Wild Card position in last month’s Mortgage Strategy lender ratings feature.
