Rockstead has appointed John Barbour as director of operations.

The appointment of Barbour will strengthen its management team, says the independent asset, business and process review firm founded in 2008. It has performed due diligence on more than £200bn of loans across Europe.

Barbour was managing director at Commercial First Mortgages for more than a decade and had worked for the firm for almost twenty years, joining as operations manager in June 2003.

Prior to that, he worked at loans firm HML, now rebranded as Computershare, where he stayed for just over nine years joining in May 1994 and leaving as a department executive.

Rockstead chief executive Brian Pitt says: “We are delighted to have secured the services of John and strongly believe that his pinpoint operational focus, coupled with his wealth of experience, will ensure that we continue to deliver on our planned growth throughout this year and far beyond.”

Barbour adds: “I am looking forward to working with the Rockstead team and know its reputation is one built on technical expertise and professionalism.”
