Financial Intermediary and Broker Association (FIBA) has partnered with Alternative Business Funding (ABF) to create a white label lender sourcing hub for commercial finance, available exclusively to FIBA members.

The joint FIBA Funder Finder allows the trade body’s members digital access to lenders and products, which may fall outside their usual routes for bridging, development and term commercial property finance for purchase and refinancing.

Alternative Business Funding is a free platform for small businesses to find finance, which is approved by the Treasury and the British Business Bank.

FIBA is a brand of SimplyBiz, the parent group provides regulatory guidance and investment opportunities to financial and legal advisers and was founded in 2002.

FIBA executive chairman Adam Tyler says: “It is now impossible to ignore the way in which technology is revolutionising the commercial finance lending sector and many advisers might be wondering how the tech revolution can possibly help their businesses.

“I believe ABF’s platform aligns with the aims of FIBA, and those of SimplyBiz as a whole, to introduce efficiencies to the advice process which improve outcomes for both the intermediary and their clients.”

ABF and Funder Finder chairman Adam Tavener adds: “We are delighted to be partnering with FIBA. Its adoption of the Funder Finder tool is a major vote of confidence in this technology, whose mission is to provide fast, fair and transparent access to finance to all businesses, no matter how large or small.

“Businesses that are properly tech-enabled will continue to enjoy significant benefits that flow from an enhanced customer experience and thus loyalty.

“The direction of travel is unmistakeable and progress around these kinds of automated customer journeys will continue to accelerate.

“Far-sighted businesses already know this and are ensuring they stay ahead, as is the case here with the Funder Finder tool providing a whole new type of technology to members and customers of FIBA”.
