TSB hikes rates by up to 40 bps | Mortgage Strategy

TSB has increased residential mortgage rates by up to 40 basis points after withdrawing products yesterday evening to reprice.

The lender has raised rates for house purchase range at 75 per cent loan-to-value by up to 0.4 percentage points.

Two-year fixed rates in this range now start from 1.84 per cent with a £995 fee and five-year fixes start at 1.99 per cent with the same fee.

TSB has also increased prices in its purchase range at 85 per cent LTV by up to 0.2 percentage points

Its five-year fixed in this range now costs 2.99 per cent with a £995 fee.

The lender has hiked its five-year fix with a three-year early repayment charge at 85 per cent LTV by 0.4 points.

The deal now costs 2.99 per cent for either house purchase or remortgage with no fee.

Finally, TSB has increased its two-year fixed rate remortgage deal at 80 per cent LTV by 0.3 points.

The deal now costs 1.99 per cent with a £995 fee.
