Specialist broker Clever Lending has overhauled its management, with the appointment of a new chief executive and two other senior roles.

The firm has promoted Anesh Dayaram to become its new chief executive, which sees him step up from his former post as finance director.

The business is a distributor of second charge and commercial mortgages, development finance, bridging loans and buy-to-let finance.

It says Dayaram role is to “lead the company in its mission to support introducers” and “drive an aggressive growth strategy”.

Dayaram says he will “further develop the business in support of our existing and prospective introducers so they can offer more solutions to their customers”.

He replaces Sam Kirtikar who left as head of the business in July 2019.

The firm says Paul Adams joins the business as a commercial and bridging specialist, bringing “a wealth of experience in all types of bridging, development and commercial finance”.

Sam Nasim also joins the company as a business development manager.

It says Nasim has previously worked for several lenders and as a mortgage adviser.

Nasim adds that “the world seems to be going back to normality and specialist lending opportunities are becoming more and more prevalent”.
