The ASTL can now boast of having almost 40 members on its books, all of which must abide by a strict code of conduct, which it describes as a “kitemark of quality.”

Strettons advises on both commercial and residential property for buyers, owners, investors and developers.

It has been a busy week for Strettons. Just yesterday, it announced the promotion of Paul Joseph to the role of director.

On its new membership, Joseph says: “Our history and experience equip us to deal with a broad range of unique properties and we offer a comprehensive set of services to clients.

“The Strettons brand is well-established and well-known for quality of service and so we are pleased to join the ASTL, which is at the forefront of promoting high standards in the short-term lending market.”

And ASTL chief executive Vic Jannels comments: “I am really pleased to welcome Strettons as the latest professional organisation to become an associate member of the ASTL.

“Our growing membership reflects the increasing number of like-minded businesses that want to demonstrate a commitment to high standards and focus on the end customer.

“This is helping to grow the reputation of the short-term lending sector, helping to build a larger market for all of our members, associate members and intermediaries in the process
