Gen H has made three promotions to its senior team and announced the departure of its chief commercial officer Pete Dockar.
Sara Palmer will become chief distribution officer, Richard Leivers chief lending officer and Andrew Mackie chief financial officer.
Dockar is leaving at the end of September after four years at Gen H to join Principality Building Society.
He will take up the newly created role of chief commercial officer, bringing together Principality’s savings, mortgages, branch network and commercial lending businesses.
The role will focus on improving commercial performance as well as using data and technology to deliver a better customer experience.
Dockar will also oversee Principality’s branch network.
Prior to joining Gen H, he held senior roles at HSBC and Virgin Money.
Palmer has been sales and distribution director at Gen H since 2025 and in her new role will take responsibility for growth.
Leivers joined the business in 2022 and is currently propositions director.
In his new role, he will oversee Gen H’s lending function and the development of new propositions.
Mackie has been at the lender since 2025 and has led the transformation of its finance function.
As chief financial officer his responsibilities will include expanding the lender’s capital market funding.
Gen H chief executive Graham McClelland says: “I am really excited to give Sara, Richard and Andrew the recognition they deserve.
“In her year with the business, Sara has brought immeasurable benefit to Gen H leading our push to provide even more support to our broker partners.
“Richard has driven all of our recent propositional developments, and has many more in the works.
“Andrew has overseen the maturation of our finance function while setting up the business to support the growth we have planned in the coming years.”
Principality Building Society chief executive Iain Mansfield says: “Pete joining us is an important step in building the capability we need to succeed in a changing market, creating greater value for our members and strengthen our long-term performance.”
Dockar adds: “I’ve always believed that financial services should work around people’s lives – not the other way round.
“I’ve spent my career helping people access the financial products they need to build security and achieve their goals, and that’s a mission that sits at the heart of Principality too.
“I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and building on that proud mutual heritage.”
