YBS Commercial Mortgages has appointed Angela Norman as its head of lending.

Norman joins with 25 years of experience in the industry.

She has previously worked as director of strategy and propositions at Recognise Bank, as well as in senior manager roles at Royal Bank of Scotland.

In her new role, Norman will be leading the regional lending teams and working closely with the regional directors and their teams.

She will be based at the Yorkshire Building Society head office at Broad Gate in Leeds, but will spend much of her time travelling around the country, supporting the regional teams.
