The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is a renowned, world-class park featuring gardens, bonsai displays, galleries of contemporary and historical art, signature Japanese festivals, family activities and much more.

The Museum and Gardens is considered one of Palm Beach County’s most treasured cultural attractions. The 16 acres that surround the two-museum building located on the property include the expansive Japanese Gardens. The grounds feature resting and sitting areas, walking paths, collections, lakes and even wildlife.  The larger, 200- acre park features a pine forest, nature trails, and picnic areas. The Gardens went under a major renovation and expansion in 2001 to what it is today. The area now reflects major historical periods of Japanese Garden design ranging from the eight to 20th centuries. Each garden area is intended to reflect the ideas and character of the unique gardens in Japan and flow together as one single garden.  The Museum and Gardens hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the popular Sushi and Stroll Summer Walks on the second Friday of every month from May to September.
