Acre has partnered with Halifax to enable brokers to run decisions in principle (DIPs) directly through the platform.

The partnership brings the percentage of residential cases in Acre that can be directly submitted via API to over 50%.

The integration means that brokers can source Halifax products and instantly submit verified application data.

Acre founder and chief executive officer Justus Brown says: “Our mission to modernise the home-buying process means bringing all stakeholders – from the broker to the lender – on the digitalisation journey with us.”

“This new integration with Halifax is a significant step for us in becoming the go-to technology that brokers need to achieve the right mortgage from leading lenders for any client first time, every time.”

Halifax head of strategic and technology partnerships adds: “Reimagining the home buying process involves finding new ways to make it as smooth as possible for brokers to work with us.”

“Acre’s innovative approach to simplifying the mortgage journey reflects our own commitment to rethinking and digitising how people buy homes. We are thrilled to be collaborating with Acre and look forward to developing a long-term partnership.”
