Accord Mortgages is increasing the rates on its 85 per cent loan-to-value residential range from Friday 21 August.

Rates across a selection of two-year rates will be upped by 0.32 per cent and on five-year rates by up to 0.31 per cent.

All changes will occur from 8am on Friday. There will be no changes to the remortgage only products in the 85 per cent LTV range.

The move by Accord follows a decision earlier this week to remove all 60 per cent LTV mortgages from its buy-to-let range.

It affected both remortgage and house purchase products and included the fixed rate remortgage at 1.33 per cent and the fixed rate house purchase at 1.39 per cent.

The lender said at the time the decision had been made to manage the impact on its service levels.
