In her new role, Ward will be responsible for regulated and un-regulated first and second charge bridging, as well as commercial and buy-to-let.

Ward joins from Focused Lending Limited, which she established herself.

Prior to this, Ward set up Maeve Ward Consultancy Limited and has also previously worked at Shawbrook Bank.

At Shawbrook Bank, Ward contributed to the building of Shawbrook’s second charge business.

Ward said: “It is good to be back in the second charge industry. I am excited about getting started in my new role.

“It is also nice to see familiar faces and that everyone has weathered the COVID-19 storm.”
