There was very little about this year's Masters that felt "traditional".

Normally held in April, the event was pushed back to mid-November due to the Covid pandemic. There were also no patrons and the par 3 contest, normally held on the eve of the first round, was also cancelled this year due to the pandemic. The only things that were "traditional" about the 2020 Masters were the pimento cheese sandwiches and the loaded leaderboard come Sunday.

When the dust settled, it was Dustin Johnson slipping on the Green Jacket, winning the second major of his career.

DJ came into Sunday holding on to a 4 shot lead but was also 0-for-4 when it came to converting 54 hole leads in major championships. Early on it appeared that dubious record might extend to o-for-5 after back-to-back bogeys at 4 and 5 dropped his lead down to a single shot. After stuffing his tee shot at the par 3 6th and converting his birdie attempt, his lead went back up to 3 shots and he never looked back.

Johson's 5 shot win was the largest margin of victory at Augusta National since Tiger Woods won the 1997 event by 12 shots. DJ also set the scoring record for the event, shooting 20-under par for the week and besting the previous record of 18-under set by Jordan Spieth back in 2105.

Woods, who came into the week as the defending champion, made a 10 at the par 3 12th hole on Sunday on his way to a final round 76. He finished the week in a tie for 38th at 1-under.
