Mayflower Mortgage and Finance has launched a new specialist mortgage packager for brokers. 

Mayflower for Brokers will help place self-build and development cases for brokers. In addition, brokers will receive a minimum of 0.4% (up to 1%) as a gross procuration fee.

The new service can help brokers and their clients understand project budgets, run project feasibility assessments and offer build costings using its costing service. 

It will also provide brokers will cashflow forecasting for their clients’ building projects and help source an appropriate lender for the client’s project. 

Brokers will have access to any case through the Mayflower portal.

Mayflower for Brokers is working with a number of lenders including market Harborough, Harpenden building society, The Dudley building society, Saffron Building society, MT Finance, among others. 

Mayflower Mortgage and Finance director Mike Pawley says: “We understand that one of the most stressful things about being a mortgage intermediary is ensuring delivery on your client’s expectations, on or before time.”

“Using a specialist distributor or packager can feel like your losing control of your client’s journey, which in turn can cause brokers to worry about delivering on those expectations.”

“That’s why we give brokers a one-to-one point of contact throughout the whole process with a construction finance expert, who will respond to calls and emails immediately,” Pawley adds.
