With summer around the corner and beaches, attractions and other places beginning to open up in Palm Beach County, we have gathered a list of some of our favorite trails throughout the area for you to explore the great outdoors.

Whether you’re into biking, hiking, walking, running or just want to explore, here is a list of some of the best trails to explore in our area.

The Lake Trail – Palm Beach

Bike, jog or walk along the intracoastal and Lake Trail on Palm Beach Island. The pathway takes you by elegant Palm Beach mansions and the blue water. The palm tree lined pathway leads to the iconic Worth Avenue filled with great shopping and restaurants.

Riverbend Park – Jupiter

The park is comprised of the historic headwaters of the Loxahatchee Wild and Scenic River and a preserved battlefield from the Seminole War among with many pathways and wildlife. Racoons, Turkeys, Deer, Otters, Birds and other native wildlife have been spotted in the park.

Okeeheelee Park – West Palm Beach

The park features of 900 acres of land and is one of the largest parks in Palm Beach County. The park is home to the Okeeheelee Nature Center, miles of pathways, hands on exhibits, nature related gift shop, encounters with wildlife, picnic areas, wetlands and much more.

Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge – Boynton Beach

Located in the northern part of the Florida Everglades wetlands and features 145,000 acres of marshlands which provides refuge to endangered snail kites, many species of birds and the American alligator. Make sure to stop by the visitor’s center and visit some of the interesting exhibits.

Juno Dunes Natural Area – Juno Beach

The Natural Dunes area is located between intracoastal and the ocean and is home to the largest scrub of habitat in Palm Beach County. Located near the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Juno Dues has a great view of the water and area from the top of its ancient sand dune and from several miles of trails.
