Empty & Clean Closet
To get started, you need to see what you’re working with. First, empty all the contents and clean your closet space.
Purge & Plan
Now is a great time to get rid of clothes you no longer want. Donate if possible! Next measure and plan where you can add shelving and storage bins.
Shelving
Install shelving where space permits (wire shelving is a great economical option). If your space is already maxed out, hanging accessory shelves work perfectly!
Reassembly Time
Group like with like and put items back in your closet in an organized way that makes sense to you (work pants, jeans, long-sleeve shirts, etc.)
Keep the Kicks
Shoe racks make a great way to keep them all organized. Have too many? Put the ones most often worn on the rack and store the others.
Admire & Desire
Stand back, pat yourself on the back and admire your newly organized closet! Keeping it in a desirable condition will encourage you to keep it clean and organized!
