Santander is launching two new-build exclusives for borrowers who are not using the Help to Buy scheme.

The lender is launching the deals tomorrow for purchases only.

Both deals are fixed for 2.5 years at 85 per cent loan-to-value.

One has a rate of 2.68 per cent and a £999 feel, while the other has a rate of 2.98 per cent and no fee.

At the same time the lender is also withdrawing a 60 per cent LTV 5.5 year fix for Help to Buy purchases, which had a rate of 1.69 per cent and a £999 fee.
