West One Loans has hired two business development managers as part of a strategy to boost its bridging business in the north.

Adam Wolstenholme and Cameron Linnell have joined the specialist lender as business development manager and regional development manager, respectively.

The firm says Wolstenholme has more than eight years of experience in the bridging and second charge markets, having worked in similar roles at Bridging Finance Solutions Group, Together and Aldermore.

Linnell has worked in the industry for more than nine years. Before joining West One, he was a BDM at Goldentree Financial Services and prior to that held a number of roles at Royal Bank of Scotland.

The specialist lender says:Both bring vast experience in the bridging and development sectors, and are tasked with developing relationships and new business in the north.”

West One bridging division sales director Nicholas Jones adds:We are seeing increased demand in the north of the UK and recognise the opportunity to further grow our bridging business in this area. As we widen our intermediary distribution we are confident that our commitment to service and delivery will help us to stand out with brokers.”

The firm also offers development finance, second charge mortgages and buy-to-let loans.

In May, the business cut rates on its BTL lifetime tracker range. Among the offers, its Lifetime Tracker Standard W1 became available at base rate plus 2.09%, a reduction of 15 basis points.
