SimplyBiz Mortgages has announced the launch of a new buy-to-let service to boost support for brokers in this market.

The mortgage club says its new BTL+ online hub offers access to a dedicated panel of lenders, including those with specialist solutions to cater for more complex cases.

It also includes an education zone, virtual training academies, alongside market updates and news. The site, launched last week, contains guidance around protection, landlord insurance and surveys.

The hub will also offer face-to-face BTL events, including a UK tour of ten masterclasses, and a national BTL+ conference.

The service is available exclusively to the club’s more than 3,000 member firms.

The club says the hub will suit brokers “working across all areas of the market, from first-time landlords, through to commercial BTL”.

SimplyBiz Mortgages head Makayla Everitt adds: “BTL landlords and lenders remain positive about their prospects over the next 12 months, from remortgaging opportunities, potential first-time landlords entering the market, and existing landlords adding to their portfolio – often taking advantage of the opportunities offered by a different geographical area – to the changing needs of tenants with a greater focus on home working.

“At SimplyBiz Mortgages, we are committed to leading the field in terms of BTL support, education and service, which helps to ensure good outcomes for advisers and their clients.

“It was therefore crucial that BTL+ delivered a highly detailed route to growth, supporting foundation income and access to the provision of a holistic service and providing all the essential resources, training and easy access needed.”

Last May, the club launched a partnership that gave its members access to Mortgage Broker Tools affordability platform.

it said the deal would give its members access to an eligibility calculator based on affordability and criteria for more than 40 residential and 65 buy to let mortgage lenders.
