National mortgage network Stonebridge has appointed John Scrivens as head of sales.
Scrivens will lead the network’s strategy to support firms looking to increase their income.
He will also focus on new income generation for member firms and how they can maximise income from new and existing opportunities within the network.
Scrivens will join the senior management team and reports to chief executive Rob Clifford.
He joins from Skipton Building Society where he was employed for eight years, most recently as its regional manager responsible for intermediary development and leadership.
Scrivens has over 25 years’ experience in financial services predominantly in the mortgage intermediary sector.
He has held business development roles as well as leadership positions. He is also a member of the IMLA Working Group on Diversity and Inclusion in the industry.
Stonebridge chief executive Rob Clifford said: “It’s a real positive to be able to expand our leadership team with the appointment of John to lead income growth. This exciting new appointment gives us additional senior management capacity and provides both the network and our member firms with a highly-experienced individual who brings a wealth of insight and knowledge, as well as a proven track record of driving commercial success.”
John Scrivens added: “My aim is to ensure all our members make the most of those opportunities, to provide them with a wealth of information and insight into what is available to them, and what it can mean to their businesses to access these products and services. Stonebridge is a market-leader and one which I know has significant ambitions for the future – I’m aiming to play a full part in helping deliver for all stakeholders.”
