Barclays cuts rates by up to 11 bps - Mortgage Strategy

Barclays is cutting rates by up to 11 basis points on a wide range of two, three, five, seven and 10-year fixed rates.

The reductions are across both residential and buy-to-let deals for purchase and remortgage.

In the residential range its two-year fixed at up to 75 per cent loan-to-value will come down from 1.32 per cent to 1.29 per cent with a £999 fee.

Its five-year fixed at 1.54 per cent up to 60 per cent LTV will come down to 1.47 per cent with the same fee.

Its five-year fixed at 1.67 per cent up to 75 per cent LTV will come down to 1.57 per cent, also with a £999 fee.

Purchase and remortgage

  • 1.49 per cent two-year fixed, £299 product fee, 60 per cent LTV will decrease to 1.45 per cent
  • 1.85 per cent two-year fixed, £999 product fee, 90 per cent LTV will decrease to 1.79 per cent
  • 2.08 per cent three-year fixed, £999 product fee, 90 per cent LTV will decrease to 2.00 per cent
  • 2.32 per cent three-year fixed, £0 product fee, 90 per cent LTV will decrease to 2.28 per cent
  • 1.67 per cent five-year fixed, £999 product fee, 75 per cent LTV, will decrease to 1.57 per cent
  • 1.78 per cent five-year fixed, £999 product fee, 80 per cent LTV, will decrease to 1.76 per cent
  • 1.88 per cent five-year fixed, £499 product fee, 80 per cent LTV, will decrease to 1.82 per cent
  • 2.33 per cent five-year fixed, £999 product fee, 90 per cent LTV will decrease to 2.23 per cent
  • 2.40 per cent five-year fixed, £0 product fee, 90 per cent LTV will decrease to 2.30 per cent
  • 1.84 per cent seven-year fixed, £999 product fee, 60 per cent LTV will decrease to 1.79 per cent
  • 2.23 per cent 10-year fixed, £999 product fee, 60 per cent LTV will decrease to 2.13 per cent
  • 2.34 per cent 10-year fixed, £0 product fee, 60 per cent LTV will decrease to 2.24 per cent
  • 2.62 per cent 10-year fixed, £999 product fee, 80 per cent LTV will decrease to 2.52 per cent
