It says Apollonio will take charge of shaping the sales and distribution strategy for its The Mortgage Lender and Bluestone Mortgages brands. 

She will also lead its corporate account and regional business development manager teams as the firm looks to boost its broker presence. 

Apollonio has worked at the business for over seven years and was previously head of corporate accounts. 

The move comes after Shawbrook combined the sales operations of Bluestone Mortgages and The Mortgage Lender in April.
