Leeds Building Society will use LMS Secure Link to enhance is conveyancing process for both purchase and remortgage transactions.

This digitisation is designed to offer more streamlined communication between Leeds BS and its wider conveyancing panel, improving the time it takes to process cases.

LMS says its Secure Link service reduces post offer queries into lender administration teams by up to 70%, and negates some of the risks associated with emailed queries.

It says it can also help reduce phishing queries as user details are validated, contributing to a simpler and more secure service for all stakeholders.

Leeds BS has previously partnered with LMS, utilising its redemption statement service, which allows law firms to request redemption statements quickly and securely through this portal.

LMS is the UK’s largest conveyancing services provider. Its Secure Link portal now has a network of 4,000 law firms and 60,000 registered users. It says this portal is helping  promote the digitisation of end-to-end conveyancing, without additional workload for the participating for all participating firms.
