The Right DA Club has announced the addition of Shepherds Friendly to its protection panel, providing access to Shepherds’ income protection proposition.

The proposition offers clients cover of up to 70% of their income if they are unable to work due to illness or injury, providing a monthly benefit designed to help them meet their regular financial commitments while they are unable to earn.

The proposition also offers advisers scope to support clients with a range of medical histories, with Shepherds Friendly able to consider conditions including diabetes, anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, raised BMI and back pain through its fully-underwritten product, subject to individual circumstances and underwriting.

The addition therefore provides The Right DA Club’s member firms with another option for clients whose health, income and protection requirements may differ considerably, while adding further choice to the club’s existing protection panel.
