Jupiter Sandbar

The Jupiter/Tequesta Sandbar is Located on the Loxahatchee River, near the Jupiter Inlet and the Intracoastal waterways. On any given weekend throughout the year, the popular sandbar is certainly the place to be for all ages to enjoy the water, views of the Jupiter Lighthouse and to hang out for the day. The east end of the sandbar is good for snorkeling where a variety of fish are especially during the summer months.

Peanut Island Sandbar

The Peanut Island Sandbar is located near the Palm Beach Inlet in the middle of the Lake Worth Lagoon. The island was formed from the piles of sand from dredging projects and now the island has developed into a popular destination in the water. The North end of the sandbar has enough room for boats to dock and people who want to snorkel or layout in the sun with great views of the marinas, Palm Beach, and West Palm Beach. The Island is big enough to have a picnic in several pavilion areas, beach frontage, observation deck, restrooms, walking paths, and even campgrounds. 

Beer Can Island

Beer Can Island is located at the mouth of the Boynton Beach Inlet. The area is now a bird sanctuary and has a great view of boaters coming in and out of the inlet heading to and from the ocean.

Lake Boca Raton

Lake Boca Raton is part of the Intracoastal goes through the lake and is separated by the Atlantic Ocean and a narrow strip of land with condos and homes. The popular area attracts a large number of boaters on a given day. Every spring the sandbar hosts the Boca Bash, a huge floating party on the water with live music and more.
