TSB has rolled out its partnership with mortgage platform Twenty7Tec allowing users to submit applications to the lender’s APPLY module without re-keying.

The tech firm says during a pilot, advisers from the Mortgage Advice Bureau and Connells Group submitted more than 420 applications to TSB via APPLY using its CloudTwenty7 platform, saving an average of 20 minutes per application, as there was no need to re-key data directly into the lender’s portal.

Twenty7Tec says it has integrated with IRESS lender connect software for this partnership, which TSB uses to support the transfer of data into their broker portal.

It adds, CloudTwenty7 users are now able to complete a TSB decision in principle application on the platform, re-using customer data already captured, before passing the data to the TSB portal and submitting it to the lender.

TSB national account manager Paul Thornton says: “I am really pleased that we are going to be continuing to work with Twenty7Tec after a really successful pilot. At TSB we are continuing work to develop technology which saves brokers time and make TSB easy to do business with.”

Twenty7Tec head of lender relationships Nathan Reilly adds: “With the market predicted to remain busy, integration across lenders and technology providers to drive more efficiency and time saving for advisers has never been more important.”

In March, Twenty7Tec completed a similar integration with Halifax.

Nationwide, Barclays and Virgin are among other large lenders the tech platform has linked to their APPLY modules.
