The business has promoted veteran Sara Palmer to distribution director, taking on overall responsibility for its distribution operations. She will also lead the specialist distribution and key accounts teams.  

Palmer joined the lender last January as head of distribution overseeing its corporate accounts.  

Previously, Palmer worked for Santander for over 13 years, leaving as key accounts director in 2022. She also worked as head of packaged sales – south for Morgan Stanley for just under two years, leaving in 2008; and worked for Platform for seven years, leaving as key account manager in 2006.    

Louise Apollonio has been promoted to head of corporate accounts following a four-year tenure at TML, most recently as national distribution manager. She will also manage the network and club teams as part of her new role.  

Finally, Alice Baggott has been promoted to business development manager handling the firm’s relationship with estate agency Connells Group. This follows her previous role as corporate account support manager, which she held since June 2021, where she worked with key partners.  

The Mortgage Lender chief commercial officer Steve Griffiths says: “These promotions are a testament to the hard work that Sara, Louise, and Alice have put in over the last year.   

“2022 was a bumper year for TML where we surpassed our targets and grew the team. We’re investing in our people and these recent promotions are a demonstration of this.”
