The mutual has invested in its digital broker portal to improve functionality, including online broker registration and decisions in principle (DiPs), as well as a ‘quick online enquiry’ feature.
Vernon has also made it quicker for brokers to access product information and documentation.
The website refresh is the first stage in the lender’s strategy to improve its broker technology.
Brendan Crowshaw, head of mortgage and savings distribution at Vernon, said: “We’re already well known for our bespoke underwriting and our personal service.
“But we need better tech alongside the human touch, so we’re investing in our online capability to improve the broker experience.
“This website relaunch is step one of our plan to boost our digital proposition.
“Online registrations and DIPs will save brokers time and effort and, if they want a fast response to a specific question, our Quick Online Enquiry form makes it easy.
“Of course, our team are still available on the phones to discuss cases or answer any questions.”
