NatWest puts up rates by 10 bps Mortgage Finance Gazette

NatWest is increasing rates by 10 basis points tomorrow on a range of deals.

The lender is raising prices on a whole range of different products for new customers, product transfers and additional borrowing.

In the lender’s new business range, the following categories of deal will see selected two and five-year fixes go up by 10 bps:

  • Purchase
  • Remortgage
  • High-value purchase and remortgage deals
  • First-time buyer
  • Shared equity purchase and remortgage
  • Green purchase and remortgage

Together has increased rates by up to 135 bps in a major reprice.

Clydesdale Bank has also announced rate increases of up to 30 bps from tomorrow.

And The Mortgage Works is increasing some rates while cutting others, also tomorrow.
