OSB Group is hosting a programme of events for staff to mark National Inclusion Week.

Employees from across the Precise Mortgages, Kent Reliance for Intermediaries and InterBay Commercial brands have been brought together for the activities, which are designed to promote a united workforce.

The lender is hosting a conscious inclusivity training session and is also providing a platform for under-represented voices, such as those from black, asian and ethnic minority backgrounds and disabled people to share their stories about their experiences in the workplace,

So far this year OSB Group has already celebrated International Women’s Day, Pride and Black History Month with workplace events.

The company has also introduced a series of internal initiatives to boost staff’s wellbeing and mental health, such as sign language training to help customer-facing staff communicate with clients, virtual self-defence classes and coping with the effects of menopause.

The lender is a signatory of the Women in Finance Charter and a member of the Diversity & Inclusivity Forum.

Group managing director Alan Cleary says: “National Inclusion Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate practical ways organisations can implement inclusion and inspire others to do so as well.

“Becoming a truly diverse and inclusive organisation is about more than just having the correct policies in place.

“It’s about all of us doing our part to ensure that everyone feels supported, respected and included, irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs, disability, social backgrounds or sexual orientation.”
