JammJar has appointed James Prosser as growth and partnerships director.

Prosser, who brings more than 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, most recently served as commercial director at Mortgage Strategy.

In his new role, Prosser will work closely with chief executive and co-founder Karl Griffin and the JammJar team to grow the business, build partnerships and develop relationships with brokerages, networks, mortgage clubs and the wider industry.

A key part of his role will be building on JammJar’s existing relationships with brokers and working closely with firms to understand how their needs are changing.

He will also help shape JammJar’s marketing, events and industry partnerships.

Commenting on his new role, Prosser says: “For the past 20 years, I’ve said that brokers should be able to run their business from one operating system. Having seen what JammJar is building, I believe this is the transformative technology that will enable us to deliver exactly that.”

He adds: “The opportunity to build this alongside Karl and the team is one I couldn’t pass up. I believe in what we’re doing and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Griffin says: “James really knows the mortgage market and has spent his career building relationships across it. That will be a huge help as we introduce JammJar to more firms and work more closely with networks, clubs and other industry partners.”
