Is summer here already?! This weekend is going to be HOT HOT HOT! And You know what that means…WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!.. or gelato, we’re not super picky. Here are our two recommendations for a tasty cool treat this weekend:

Bonta, a Bend local artisan Gelato shop is open for take out and delivery. Don’t sweat this weekend without a cool sweet treat. They’re offering scooped cups, pints, half gallons and gelato cookie sandwiches. We’d recommend getting stocking up with their 3 for $20 deal-which includes free deliver, you don’t even have leave the house! Off their flavor menu our current favorites are of course the Dulce de Leche with Sea Salt, Stracciatella, and Tumalo Lavender and Honey. Looking for a different flavor? A new fun favorite of ours is EMW Fusion, located in the Podski food cart lot across from the Box factory. This weekend they are pairing with Addy Macs ice cream to break out their Ice Cream Special! One scoop of Salted Vanilla with a sweet fish, of your choosing, topped with chocolate or caramel syrup! I have a feeling the kiddos will love this one!
