Tracy Randle, Julie Belcher, Zoe Bond, Mark Schofield and chief executive Richard Newton were among the fundraisers who walked, ran and cycled a total of 365 miles throughout April.

The challenge was set at 121 miles, representing the distance between the Midlands Air Ambulance bases located at Tattenhill, Cosford and Strensham.

This is the latest charitable activity completed by the Tipton in support of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Last year, and despite lockdown, the building society raised over £4,700 for the charity.

In 2020, the Tipton launched a 30 Day Notice Midlands Air Ambulance Saver account designed to support Midland Air Ambulance Charity. It relies solely on support from local donors and businesses for its 3,000 missions each year. The account can be opened via the Tipton app, in branch or through the post.

Richard Newton, CEO at Tipton & Coseley Building Society said: “Once again staff at the Tipton have pulled out all the stops to raise money for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

“The helicopters and staff at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity do such a fantastic job helping people in need but without any government support or funding, so we hope this latest donation will help make a difference”.
