Fleet Mortgages has promoted Dave Husbands to head of sales as part of a series of changes in its sales division.

The buy-to-let specialist lender says Husbands will oversee its entire sales operation, including field business development managers, telephone business development managers, sales administrators, sales team leaders and senior business development managers.

It adds that the move will “provide clarity for its sales team and deliver a single point of contact to all to discuss sales-related issues and provide feedback to help improve both products and services”.

Husbands, who was previously a sales manager at the business, reports to chief commercial officer Steve Cox.

The firm has also promoted five business development managers to senior level.

They are — Josh Parker, responsible for the South West, Katy Williams, the Midlands, Donna Spence, the North West, Giovanna Streatfield, the South, and Stella Brookman in the South East.

They join the lender’s other senior business development managers – Stuart Kay, who covers North London, Dave Horsman, Central London, and Chris Barwick in the North East.

Fleet Mortgages’ Cox says: “Dave, in particular, will be instrumental in ensuring all members of the sales team have everything they need to fulfil their roles and making sure we continue to work closely with advisers so they can confidently place their BTL business with us.”

New head of sales Husbands adds: “We all remain absolutely focused on providing advisers with everything they need to support their BTL advice propositions, and helping ensure their landlord borrowers have the finance they need to remain invested and grow their portfolios.”
