Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries has made its home loans available across the whole of the market in Scotland.
Brokers across Scotland will now be able to access the mutual’s full range of residential home loan products, including its Income Flex, Credit Flex and Core ranges. Buy-to-let products are also on offer.
The move follows an initial launch through PMS Mortgage Club and Sesame Network in August, where the society first introduced its Scottish residential offering on a limited distribution basis.
Features and products the mutual offers include:
- Income Flex loans — supports non-standard or complex income, including self-employed borrowers with one year’s accounts or using net profit
- Skilled worker visa — no minimum UK residency, no minimum income, and no minimum time remaining on the visa required
- Joint borrower sole proprietor loans — and lending into retirement
- Up to 95% loan-to-value on selected products
- Manual underwriting with no credit scoring
Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries head of mortgage sales & distribution Laura Sneddon, says: “Brokers in Scotland have been asking us for more options, so it’s great to now open our full range to the whole of market.
“We know there are many clients with complex or non-standard needs who struggle to find the right fit, and our approach is about looking at each case on its own terms.”
