HSBC adds up to 0.25% to rate switch fixes | Mortgage Strategy

HSBC has increased the rates on a number of its rate switch products.

Two-year fixes have received rises of between 0.10 per cent and 0.25 per cent. The 95 per cent LTV product with zero fee has gone from 3.14 per cent to 3.24 per cent while the 85 per cent LTV with zero fee, having had the largest raise, has gone from 2.99 per cent to 3.24 per cent.

Within the five-year fix range, rises of 0.10 per cent to 0.25 per cent occur, too. The 95 per cent LTV with zero fee product has received a 10 basis point addition, taking it to 3.44 per cent and the 85 per cent LTV with £999 fee has had 25 basis points added, taking it from 2.94 per cent to 3.19 per cent.

For two-year trackers, the 85 per cent LTV mortgage with £999 fee has gone from 2.84 per cent to 3.09 per cent and the 90 per cent LTV product with £999 fee from 2.99 per cent to 3.09 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Premier five-year fixed rate mortgage at 85 per cent LTV and with £1,499 fee has seen its rate go up by 25 basis points, from 2.91 per cent to 3.16 per cent and the 90 per cent LTV product with £1,499 fee from 3.06 per cent to 3.16 per cent.
