Most of South Florida’s favorite waterparks are set to reopen this month. Here are a few that you and your kids are sure to enjoy.

Rapids Water Park

The Rapids is a local favorite, the park boasts one of the best lazy river rides along with a plethora of other fun water-rides, from the thrilling 70-foot vertical drop of Brain Drain to gentler, kid-friendly fare like Alligator Alley, where kids can balance on floating gators as they hang on to a rope net overhead. Rapids is great for groups, with lots of multi-person tube rides.

Admission is $42.99 Monday-Friday and $47.99 Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

Calypso Bay Waterpark

Calypso Bay Waterpark is a seasonal outdoor attraction where you can also enjoy two four-story waterslides, an 897-foot river ride, an interactive water playground and a traditional swimming pool complete with lap lanes and diving boards. Splashing around can work up an appetite, and thankfully concessions are available. Choose from hot dogs, chicken nuggets, ICEEs and more.

Admission is $10.60 for adults 12+, $8.60 for children 3-11, $4.60 for toddlers 1-2, free for infants younger than 1. Seniors 65+ and military members with IDs pay a discounted admission of $8.60.

Safari Splash at Lion Country Safari
