United Trust Bank (UTB) has expanded its bridging proposition with the introduction of new standard and near prime ranges and the reintroduction of heavy refurbishment finance, with rates starting from 0.58% per month.
The enhancements include UTB’s new near prime bridging range, which is available across both regulated and non-regulated bridging finance.
The new products are designed to bridge the gap between standard and more specialist lending.
The lender has also created greater flexibility for borrowers with historic credit blips, while heavy refurbishment finance returns for non-regulated bridging cases.
The product range covers core bridging, second charge, re-bridge and light, medium and heavy refurbishment.
The latest enhancements follow UTB’s recent launch of its new bridging portal and Gene Clohessy’s appointment as director of buy-to-let (BTL) and bridging.
Clohessy’s expanded role brings sales and underwriting together under one director.
Commenting on the latest changes, Clohessy says: “There’s a real sense of momentum around UTB Bridging at the moment.”
“We are delighted with the response to our new bridging portal and now we’re quickly following that with a significantly broader proposition, giving brokers more options and more reasons to bring bridging cases to UTB.”
